Celebrating 40 years of Carol at TTE
Yesterday marked an incredible milestone – Carol Burrow’s 40th anniversary at TTE. Friends, colleagues and some familiar faces from the past gathered to celebrate her outstanding service and unwavering commitment to the business.
Carol has been a constant presence at TTE, guiding the team through four decades of change, growth and challenge. Known for her quick wit, no-nonsense attitude and fabulous hair, she’s kept the wheels turning behind the scenes, from managing orders to keeping the accounts team (and the rest of us) in line – all while making it look effortless.
The celebration brought together current TTE team members along with some special guests, including Chris Bill, who founded TTE back in 1972; Eamonn Molloy, who later purchased the business from Chris; and Peter Glover, Managing Director of Motus Vehicle Solutions, who went on to acquire TTE from Eamonn. Also joining the celebration were Jon and Janet Keeling – with Jon having previously worked for TTE – and Kim Hems, Carol’s long-time colleague and her ‘partner in crime’ in the accounts team.
Carol has played a pivotal role in shaping the spirit of TTE. Her presence has provided consistency, humour and a firm hand (delivered, of course, in her own sweet way). As one tribute poem from the day summed it up:
“A legend here, both sharp and wise,
And TTE’s heart (with fabulous hair!).”
There were laughs, stories and plenty of smiles in her honour. And while we can’t confirm if a G&T was involved, it’s safe to say Carol’s contribution to TTE over the past 40 years is truly one worth raising a glass to.
Carol – thank you for everything.
